May...short little plants trying to grow tall
June
Big Pillar, little ferns....
Big pillar, little ferns??
The new japanese maple seemed tall enough and the blue hosta beside it was dramatic.
Can you still see the japanese maple?

Time to paint the white fence - so we pressure blasted the paint off of it
And moved the fountain over to its new spot near the fence
Waiting for the wood to dry out before painting
Leaving this raised bed alone until the painting is done.
|
First layer of paint (and new fence art - Alexander the Great replica)
That white paint is going to go... |
End of the paint but not the end of the fence - more paint tomorrow. |
Painted Fence - finished both first and second color layers and part of the black framing.
Ran out of black paint for the posts and cross beams.
The Circle of Live statue arrived - it sits a bit low, so I will raise it a foot on a pedestal
Back fence is done, too...
|
The lionhead fountain is in place - next is the raised flower bed around it.
End of the painted fence - the gate will be later this week. (scary red neck staging area for incoming pieces, dirt, pots and extra bricks. Attractive, huh??)
Finished gate
|
Red Neck section of the back porch. Tools, parts, things to fix and things you just don't want to think about end up here.
|
Close up of Alexander
Hopefully he's not too creepy for visitors. Yard cleanup to follow fence painting.
Closer up of Alexander the fence body. |

Glass Garden |
New Glass Waves for color - Due Vetro Glass - In the shade
In the sun
Adding a little more Blue - Variation on the 'real' blown glass version
New Bowl for the yard and a little more blue....
The bowl is SCARY for Gracie - "if that thing moves I am outta here!"
Luca is not so aware - "what bowl?"
Hmmmm, maybe these bowls will look better on the dining table instead of in the big blue pot???
Na na na na, you can't catch me....

New Maple and lone blooming peony bush ~
